After spending a few nights at the shop with Josh & Dave fabricating curling stones for Boy's Weekend, Chris and Dave A. attempted to clear an ice court to play on before the men arrived.
They borrowed Doug's Kabota.....
and started moving snow.
and tons and tons of water.
And then once it was cleared, hoped for colder temps so they could play.
Unfortunately it just never got cold enough and Bailey was the only one who got to have a little fun with the Platt Patented Stainless Steel Mixing Bowl/Curling stones.
But there's always next year!

Funny little story to share with ya'll.
Not funny haha but more like funny I'm gonna kicks Keith's ass.
My boss had an ice pack on his arm today and I asked him what happened and he said....(oh ya you guessed it)... curling injury.
Ya, believe it, he belongs to the only organized curling league in New Hampshire.
I'm like wtf guy, we just went through hell and high water to fabricate a set of stones, blah blah blah...and I showed him the pictures. He laughed his ass off and told me that at the club (Nashua Country Club) they have an old full set of equipment (including stones) that they don't even use anymore.
I KNOW....THAT'S WHAT I WAS THINKING!
So, I guess if I had a better relationship with my boss, Chris would have had to spend much less money to NOT go curling this past weekend...
